Useful information regarding our Broadband & Telephone Service.
Basic Guidelines
For our Broadband & phones to work simultaneously on a single BT socket or extensions please ensure you have an ADSL filter in place directly into the socket.
Please note our digital phone service requires calls to be made with an area code at all times including local calls. The same for example as you would make a mobile telephone call. So for calls local to Uppingham/Oakham you must dial 01572
Voicemail
As part of your package we provide you with a free Voicemail service. This is enabled by default. If you wish to disable it you must log into your control panel, and in the extension remove the voicemail tick

To retrieve your voicemail: From your phone dial 1571 or *1 or 185 You can also dial 0870 861 6661 or 01225 800899 from an external PSTN phone but for these you will be asked for your mailbox number (xxxxxxx) and a pin number (xxxx) which can be found in your control panel. You can change the pin there.
Control Panel: Your control panel allows you to monitor your call activity, view most recent calls, call duration & call cost. Other facilities include being able to record your own personal voicemail, set voicemail delay & have voicemail e-mailed directly to your mailbox amongst other useful tools. Your login details are available from us.

Siemens Voip phone with base station Additional Siemens handset
These Siemens phones are for customers without dialtone service (e.g. Glaston, Gretton) or for businesses wanting a true VoIP service.
For this Siemens set, you can have one or more phones as required. The minimum is the master base station phone.
The master phone with base station needs to be connected to your router or LAN.
Multiple additional handsets can be used – these can be placed anywhere provided they can communicate wirelessly with the base station. Both phones need power from the mains electricity. All phones work with one extension i.e. they all ring simultaneously.
