Voicemail setup

Step by step guide to creating your own voicemail message

  • Visit our VoIP Portal
  • Enter username & password
  • Click login
  • Select voice prompts on right hand side
  • Click record new voice prompt
  • Enter description name for your new voice prompt e.g. personal voicemail message
  • Dial 188 from your voip phone or call: 08708616662
  • Enter pin code highlighted on screen (within the portal you logged into – you can change this PIN)
  • You will be asked to record your message after the tone. Create message & press 1 once finished.
  • Your message will now be played back to you. Select 1 if you are happy with the message & want to keep it. Select 2 if you want to re-record the message.
  • Select extensions on right hand side
  • Click extension number (highlight in blue on left hand side) NOTE: If more than one extension available; select the extension number that is showing as “online”.
  • Scroll down to “WAV Emails” heading. Click drop down box (currently set to default). Select name created earlier in section 6 e.g. personal voicemail message.
  • Scroll down & tick box next to the heading “intro skip”.
  • Scroll down & select “save”.

Your voicemail message will now be activated. NOTE: please be aware it may take15-30 minutes to propagate the changes to our servers.

Please ensure you do NOT change the SIP password within the extension page of your portal, unless you are operating a VoIP phone and can change the SIP password within it. Our residential single-line broadband customers with dialtone do not have SIP phones and should not reset this password. You may be charged if this needs resetting by us.
